Schedule for TuesdayAlgebra I Gateway and U.S. History EOC
1st period 7:00-7:40
3rd period and Alg. I Gateway Testing 7:45- 9:25
(students who have not completed the Gateway will relocate to the library at 9:25)
2nd period 9:30 – 10:04
4th period 10:09 – 11:02
5th period 11:07 – 12:00
6th period and US History EOC Testing 12:05 – 1:30
7th period 1:35 – 2:00
Art 1- Get tiger and finish gluing and writing the 3 questions on the back name on paper
- pick one section that is the best and tell me why
- pick one section you think you did poorly on and what you could have done to make it better
- pick the section you did the best color scheme on and describe the theme
tape this to the back of the paper with a piece of masking tap
If you art finished with the tiger- get your toolbox, sharpen pencil and get out ruler, get piece of paper from front and fold hamburger 2 times- hold horizontally- and put name in bottom right corner.
Copy these terms in the top left corner
Space- the area around, above, below and within objects- positive and negative spaces
Perspective - the use of lines and angles to create the illusion of space
6 ways to create perspective-
Overlapping- Placing one object over another
Size- size and placement of objects create space
Placement- Placement on the page
Details-closer objects have greater details
Color- atmosphere causes colors to fade in the distance
Lines- can be used to draw the objects to actual points on the horizon line
Horizon line- the apparent line where earth and sky meet
Vanishing point- the point where lines converge into the distance
1 point perspective- or parallel perspective- the center of vision is at one point where lines converge to the vanishing point on the horizon line.
