Art 1 Lancaster

Supply pass out-           Get out homework and place on desk- I will come around and check for homework points- If you do not have it- you need to have it by tomorrow by 7am or academic support-   Draw 5 – c,o,cr contours of different leaves – no more than 1 or 2 per page of manila note paper.

2. pass out supplies-  to all who paid-  others who only paid for fee will need to have supplies in her by Tuesday
3. Continued notes on manila paper
4. Locks-  You will need to have locks for your boxes- Homework bring in locks by Wednesday- key with small hook.

Tuesday September 22, 2009- Weekly from line paper due tomorrow

Get art box from cabinet- turn in key if you have purchased a lock-  You must have a lock by Friday Homework grade.

Wednesday September 23

Place sketchbook on corner of desk- leave closed-  I will collect- if you do not have it you must come to see me at 6:45 Thursday morning with it for a late grade-

Get art box and take out the manila paper

1. finish notes on form and space
2. intro to freeform/geometric leaf project
3. discussion on leaf shapes and sizes- adjust with handouts on leaves-
4. draw control contours of leaf shapes on poster board- include cross contours- do not shade as that is a sketch not a contour-

3. lines in background- lightly pencil in then go over with color marker of shapes-

Tuesday September 15, 2009   Weekly tomorrow- your choice

1. make sure to finish lines in background of project-  erase all pencil lines- 10pts if I see any not erased-  if under marker leave alone
2. get scissors, glue, art booklet, bottle practice sheet, and sharpie
3. cut out bottle

Open sketch book to your weekly- I will come around and collect

8^th, 9^th, and 12^th

1. get art talk book and handouts – answer the questions – they are in order with the reading
2. complete the sketches of the illustrations- do the best you can
3. begin PowerPoint on shapes, space and form

25 question quiz on Friday on Line, brain stuff, drawing types, face vases, shape, space, and form- study art booklet if need- remember to return it to class each day. You will need it Friday.

1. get art booklet, art book if you have not finished questions and sketches
